Most of the human race ARE mutants if not all, most were born with two faces but in those cases it has evolutionised to the extent of being invisible, only to be seen when they foolishly allow themselves to show it, like in your post for example.Obviously those that deny themselves instinct, love and reason are the real MUTANTS.
I THINK THIS IS A GIFT TO THE WORLD OF WE VET DOCTORS. THIS KITTY MUST BE TAKEN CARE OF,IT SHOULD ALSO SERVE AS A TOURIST ATTRACTION,SO I THINK IT SHOULD BE IN A PLACE WHERE EVERYBODY WILL PAY TO SEE IT

I agree with the name Ditto. it's cute just like the cat. it's soooooo sad to hear that it passed. it could have had an amazing life! Why did people think it should be put down? : ( that would be horrible. Ive seen a picture on google images ages ago of a cat that looked just like this, i wonder if it was real or photshop. Anyway, R.I.P little one.

im so sorry to hear bout the kitten,i hope all those who said bad things suffer as they havent got a heart,u are all selfish n sick,it wasnt the kittens fault but at least he had a loving family.my thoughts are with u rip kitty x

RIP little kitten. I hope the owners offer him to Murdoch, it would be very interesting to find out more about him.
as much as it is cruel fate for the kitten's deformity i think the affection ppl shows erases the very idea of being "weird". its so adorable! who wouldn't love to have them? it is very sad that the kitten(s) had to die so quickly.......:'(

Just because the kitten has two faces dosen't mean they would have to put it down. It would be very rare in a cat to have two faces. They could just treat it like a kitten with one face. Plus if you love cats i'm sure you would want it too.
Aw I feel sorry for the pets born with two faces. They must always feel that their lives are in danger from those who can't accept their abnormality. What ever happened to the baby that was born with two faces? The story made the headlines not too long ago and seems to have faded into the unknown. I reckon follow-up articles with these kind of stories would be very interesting.

its cruel that you people want it put down. As long as there is no pain or discomfort displayed i think it deserves every chance at life, like every other animal, including humans. "Bobby" you shouldnt see the light of day. Hate to see what you would say if you had a child like this. Give it a fair go.
Rare it may be, but google images show a few such cats, some of which seem to be quite mature in years. I think it's great, good luck to it.

This kitten is adorable. If it is not in any pain or suffering and can function properly then let it live. He has a right to live on this earth along with the rest of us and he is sooooooo gorgoeus. Sweet kitty.

I hope the mother's owners are happy to keep it, if not, I will! Why put down a perfectly healthy creature? If it can survive without pain, then putting it down just because it doesn't fit your idea of the "right" way a cat should look is WRONG.

i think it is beautiful and would be a complete tragedy for it to be put to sleep. do you put babies born with disabilities to sleep? as long as the kitten is healthy and not in pain there is no reason to destroy it. i wish he were mine!!
the kitten is cute how could anybody even think of putting it down just because its differant would you put a child down if it was born differant or deformed i think NOT! so why do it to a kitten if its healthy in every other way it has a right to be loved and cherished to.
As a cat lover myself, its good to see he is well taken care of and has a good home... there is just twice as much to love with this little guy. and I like the name gemini... :) if he needs a home, I'll raise my hand up too...
I think that cat is gorgeous.... it has as much right to live as any other animal... just hope it can walk straight.... Id like to see progress pictures in a few months time too.... As someone has already said, twice as cute as a regular kitten. If he didn't already have a loving home I would snap him up in a heartbeat and love him to bits! I think Gemini would be a perfect name for him. Quasi-modo is just mean!
A abberation of nature it is,but if healthy do not destroy this lovely cat.It too has a right to live,and be loved too.
Two of the cutest little faces - as long as this kitten can eat, breathe and do the other messy stuff normally - my wish is that it lives long and always find a soft bed :)
