JOONDALUP Council decided on Tuesday to give $55,000 to the North West Metropolitan Small Business Centre.
Wanneroo Council also voted to support the centre last week by contributing $55,000 for the next year.
A submission in support of the request for funds estimated that the SBC had helped to develop about 190 new businesses, creating 273 full-time jobs and 111 part-time jobs in the north-west metropolitan region last year.
