NEWBORN Georgia Kaitlyn Byrne was a very special arrival for her parents, Fi and George, and for Glengarry Hospital.

Georgia is the Currambine couple’s first child and the 30,000th baby born at the Duncraig hospital since it opened in 1977, when six babies were welcomed into the world.

To mark the special milestone, the family received a commemorative certificate, champagne and a baby gift pack for their daughter, who was born on January 30 weighing 3288g.

“We were very excited and very proud to hear Georgia was the 30,000th baby and will get her certificate framed,” mum Fi said.
