A TERMINAL cancer patient was beaten up in his Girrawheen home by two boys who stole his pants and his wallet.

The 69-year-old man was woken from a nap by the doorbell at around 10.30am yesterday.

Finding nobody at the door, he went to investigate a noise coming from his backyard.

There he saw the two boys kick in the laundry door and confronted them.

The boys knocked him to the ground and removed his trousers, which contained his wallet.

They escaped by jumping over the back fence.

The man, who is undergoing chemotherapy, was left bruised and shaken by the ordeal and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for observation.

One of the boys is described as being between 12 to 13 years-old with a tanned complexion, about 160cm tall with a skinny build, short dark hair and a slight moustache.

The second boy was described as being between 11 to 12 years-old with a tanned complexion, about 150cm tall with a skinny build.

Both are described as being clean-cut and well-dressed.

Anyone with information about this incident should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
