IT appears an urban Little Bo Peep has indeed lost her sheep.
Last week a one-week-old lamb was taken to the Murdoch University Veterinary Hospital after it was found abandoned and injured on the side of a road.
The lamb’s ankle joint was put back in place and vets say she is recovering well.
Nursing supervisor Yvonne Markey said the lamb was suckling well on the bottle, and had won the hearts of the staff.
She said one of the vets was going to care for her.
“She is still finding her way with trying to walk with the bandage on, but loves all the attention,” she said.
The final bandages should come off in a couple of weeks, she added.
