THE fourth annual Exclusive Ladies Affair (ELA) organised by female employees at the Peard Real Estate Group has raised an impressive $20,500 for Breast Cancer Care WA.

This year, the ELA was held in the luxurious VMAX theatre at Event Cinemas, Innaloo, where attendees enjoyed a screening of What to Expect When You're Expecting.

“250 women attended and enjoyed pre-movie drinks and canapes whilst joining in fundraising activities which included games, an auction and the famous ELA lucky dip,” marketing manager Brodie Fleay said.

“In the past four years, ELA has raised $28,000 for Breast Cancer Care WA so to have collected $20,500 on just one night is an incredible achievement.

“All of funds raised will be used by Breast Cancer Care WA to provide essential support services for women in WA suffering from breast cancer.”

Peard managing director Maree Overton thanked everyone who helped to make the event a huge success.

“Every year the ELA fundraiser grows from strength to strength - last year we had 86 women attend a similar event and this year we have had 250 attendees,” she said.

“In particular, everyone at Peard Real Estate would like to thank the ladies who attended the event as well as everyone who volunteered their time on the night.

“We would also like to thank the companies who sponsored the event including Gough Recruitment and National Australia Bank, as well as all the generous local businesses who donated prizes.”
